We have put man on the Moon
But have yet to put man beyond their destructive ideologies
See how they struggle with the simple challenge of coexistence
Talking the talk of a walk they never made – a price they never paid
They ruminate on someone else’s thoughts
Their struggle is as fictitious as the fear instilled
You have no burdens on your back –
Stand upright and hold your head high
Peace begins with you – start there.
Their masks fell off
And our blindfolds too
With mouths wide open
We looked in horror…
Those were the people in our neighborhood!!!
